Our Staff



Doctor Ecker is an experienced, board-certified Dermatologist. He joined Integrated Dermatology starting March 2014, offering full service medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology.

Dr. Ecker obtained a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Colorado and worked in pharmaceutical research for nearly 10 years before returning to the University of Washington School of Medicine to earn his MD degree. He completed a medicine internship year at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle and then trained in dermatology at the University of Wisconsin. He served as Chief Resident in his last year of training.

In his spare time Dr. Ecker enjoys cooking, the outdoors, playing banjo and guitar and spending time with his children. “I look forward to taking care of the skin care needs of the people of southeastern Connecticut and becoming a member of the community.”



Michael Thibault, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant who has been practicing for 12 years. Michael received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from Trinity College in Hartford in 1995. He received his PA degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT, in 2003.
Michael is a board-certified physician assistant as well as an active member and fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society for Dermatology Physicians Assistants. He joined Integrated Dermatology of Groton in 2015.
Michael’s special interests include medical and surgical treatment for skin cancer; acne treatment; biologic treatment for psoriasis; and cosmetic dermatology using lasers, toxins, and fillers.

Aside from his passion for Dermatology you can find Michael either running or biking the trails of Connecticut.
